# Calculus of fractional differ-integrals

**The differential-integral calculus of fractional order**is a generalization of the well-known calculus. It defines the derivative and the definite integral of fractional orders that for integer orders become classical ones (first-order , second-order etc.).

The derivatives and integrals of fractional order retain their essential characteristics of classical derivatives and integrals and are the basis for the definition of non-integer orders of differential equations which are the main component of a mathematical model.
